The current Cold War between the United States and China is critically examined in this essay, along with its significant effects on Pakistan's geopolitical strategy and economic growth. Pakistan is situated at a key juncture, both geographically and diplomatically, between two opposing superpowers at an era of rekindled global power struggles. In order to maintain its historical alliance and security cooperation with the United States while simultaneously fostering strategic and economic ties with China, especially through initiatives like the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Pakistan has adopted a practical and multifaceted foreign policy approach, according to the study. Pakistan hopes to gain both geopolitical clout and economic advantages by doing this. However, this balancing act is not without risks; the paper highlights the potential Pakistan has to manage diplomatic challenges, security conundrums, and economic reliance in a changing international order. Based on recent events and qualitative analysis, the study comes to the conclusion that Pakistan's involvement in this geopolitical rivalry offers both substantial opportunities and difficult problems, necessitating a carefully calibrated and flexible policy framework to protect regional stability and national interests.
