FACTORS INFLUENCING FEMALE DROPOUT RATES IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS; A QUALITATIVE STUDY OF DISTRICT SWAT

Abstract

A lot of social and many other problems in swat district are associated with female dropouts. The female education is not very encouraging in the area most of girls are dropout at their early age of schooling. Majority of girls are facing barrier like early marriages, financial problems and school distance on the way of getting education. This study therefore to explore these problems and its relationship of female dropouts at secondary level in Swat district. Main objective of this study is to investigate social problems and its impact of female dropout at secondary level in district Swat. Methodology of this study include 5 girls secondary schools the researcher selects 25 female teacher each school of the target population was represented with five female teachers, picked randomly and subject to availability at school on the date of visit for data collection.
